Back in Korea
Dave that is. He left early Friday morning to fly back for hopefully only a few months...ha ha. The Army is probably reading this and laughing in my face. Hope not. We went to a wonderful din din at Texas de Brazil. I was SO stuffed after leaving that place, you could have rolled me out of the restaurant! It was nice to be able to sit down and eat in peace. I actually was finished before Dave! I usually am the last one done since the kids seem to want to pull all their crazy tricks during dinner. After dinner we stayed the night at a wonderful Westin hotel in Dallas. We almost forgot what it was like to have children! lol! It was so sad to drop Dave off, yet again. I feel like we say Goodbye more than ever lately. This too shall pass, hopefully. And of course, the night that Dave left, Mason said Daddy. We are trying to capture it on video, it's too cute. Dave did get to hear him on the phone yesterday say, "Hi Daddy!" SO SO SO cute! Yet, SO SO SO heartbreaking at the same time. Maybe Dave can finish all the shopping I was hoping to do in Korea? A girl can dream right? :)
Mason got his ears lowered...
I know I know, it seems way too soon for him to be having a hair cut, but Dave insisted! Poor Mason was growing a mini mullet in the back and had hair at least 1/2 in. over his ears. He was FANTASTIC! He played in the the little car the whole time and didn't cry once. He was very concerned with what the stylist was doing over the top of him though. My little nosey boy.
Emma goes Glam..
Aunt Chelsea works at a little store called "Libby Lu." Unfortunately for Aunt Chelsea, "Libby Lu" is going out of business at the end of the month. She had really wanted Emma to come into her store and get a "Glam Makeover." Well, her wish came true, lol! Emma was in hog heaven as she had her hair, makeup and nails done. She even got to go through the store and pick out special treats to take home. Thanks Aunt Chelsea and Caroline for making Em feel like the Princess she is! HA HA HA!

What I miss and not miss about Korea
So now that I am back in the U.S. of A. and have my lovely laptop back, I figured I would write about something that goes through my mind everyday. Things I miss or don't miss about Korea. I absolutely miss the experience and doing something new and different almost everyday.
Things I Miss about Korea:
-My BFFs, :(
-Buying Socks on the street!
-Emma's pre-school
-Seoul, there was so much more I wanted to explore there!
-my faux purchases
-Beef on a leaf
-The kindness of "most" strangers
-public transportation, it was nice to not have to drive 2 hrs home after shopping all day
-the little Korean makeup/beauty stores
-underground shopping
-being able to eat in peace because the ajumma would take my kids at a restaurant
-cheap Korean prices
Things I Don't Miss about Korea
-having to turn my hot water on every time I wanted to use it
-not being able to "run" to the store
-Target, I am amazed by that place!
-traffic
-driving in said traffic
-being stared at
-lack of options at the PX
-the commissary, lol!
I'm sure there are much more, but that's the main list for now. Dave leaves tomorrow to go back to Korea and I almost want to go back with him, lol! But I am really enjoying Texas and all it has to offer right now, lol! Classes start back for me on the 26th, so I will try my very hardest to keep up with the blog while doing that and chasing after the kiddos! We miss everyone!!!

Just a little FYI
I can't blog right now because I broke our laptop. When I say "I" it's because I was the last person to use it before it died. So of course, I have been blamed. LOL! I promise to put all the pics up as soon as it gets back from the "doctor." I know you are all sitting there in suspense waiting for me to post, just kidding. I also need help coming up with a new name for our blog. Bring on the suggestions!!! We miss everyone!!!

Please forgive me...
I know I should have updated as soon as we got in, but we ran into a few problemos. Jet lag has kicked our butts this time! The kids are doing great with it, well Mason is still having some night problems but nothing like Mommy and Daddy. Dave and I seem to not be able to sleep past 3am! So pretty much everyday I have felt like I was hit by a truck, a very large one. Thanks goodness we are here with my parents and they have been watching the kids! The flight was great, a few breakdowns by Emma and Mason, but nothing horrible. I did attempt to go shopping on my first day back in the states, but I failed. I was SO SO SO tired! Yesterday Dave and I ventured out to get cell phones. I got an iPhone!!! It's so cute! Kinda hard to get used to, but still fun! We did get a new car, but haven't actually "got" it yet. It was at another location in Texas, so we are waiting on it to get here before finalizing everything, let me just say now that I have the BEST husband in the world. I am a very spoiled girl! I have SO many pics to put up, a lot still from Korea and some from here. So hopefully soon when I have the patience to sit down and upload them without falling asleep...lol! I miss you BFFS and no I haven't forgot about you guys...I will call soon. I promise a better update soon...just give me some time, lol!!!
