Old Colorado City

Today we went to the Territory Days in Old Colorado City and had a BLAST!  They are held every Memorial Day weekend.  We got lucky and enjoyed the festival before the rain came.  Here are the pics, enjoy!!

Day in Denver

Today we made the short drive to Denver with the kids to check out the Downtown Aquarium.  It was awesome!  If you live or travel through there I totally recommend it!  It was a little crowded being a holiday weekend but was well worth it to hear Emma talking about feeding stingrays 9 hours later, still.  Yes, I let my darling children feed and pet stingrays.  Well, Mason tried to jump in thinking it was a giant bathtub of life-size toys.  Ha!  He was quickly put back into the stroller seeing as his last daredevil trick landed him in the ER.  After the aquarium we visited the Denver Children's Museum which was awesome as well.  After exploring all of the different areas of play, Emma got to participate in a treasure hunt, which she loved!  It was a super start to our Memorial weekend and hopefully we have more adventures to share about when it's over!

What more could a Mom ask for?

Just had to share these with you because they really took my breath away!  How much our little family has grown, not just from one child to two, but in inches too!  Look at my babies with their Daddy!  This is gift enough for Mother's Day but my thoughtful husband thought J. Crew would do too.  I heart him.  Happy Mother's Day to all the mommies out there!

It's only half over and it's been busy!  My last semester of school for my degree starts this month, blah!  I should start my nursing classes in the fall, woo hoo!  We had a Cinco de Mayo party at our house last week and that was a blast!  A few girls from the unit came over and it was nice to chit chat with them!  Especially since I didn't know most of them in Korea!  We have also had beautiful weather this month!  So I took some shots of the kids playing football with Daddy, on a rare afternoon that he was actually home.  Poor Dave has been working A LOT since they got their aircraft back.  I have a feeling it's not going to let up any either.  Hope everyone is doing well!  We miss you!

Sorry for not updating...

It's been crazy around here, how many times have you heard me say that?  Well it has.  Dave is just getting back into flying nights and that throws our day off completely and we joined a gym.  So we both have been splitting our time between that, it has been SUPER!  Also, Emma can have eggs now!  Yay!  Mason is trying to run.  What else?  Oh we are slowly decorating the house so I will have pics soon!  Stay tuned for Cinco de Mayo pics...FIESTA!!!!
