Random Pics...

I know it seems that we have way more pics of Mason, but that is because he's not mobile yet. Emma will not sit still for anything! She pops in and out of pics and causes a blur...She is a girl on the go go go! Hope you guys enjoy these. The ones of Mason with his juice was hilarious to watch. Poor guy was just trying to get a drink and it wasn't working for him! He also got some new shoes that Daddy picked out for him as well, so that is why there are pictures of his shoes! LOL! I promise more of Emma soon, we are taking her to Seoul this weekend to an amusement park(rated 4th in the world!) so we should have some great ones of just her!! :)

Birthday with the Hubby

On my actual 25th birthday, Dave had one of our friends come over and watch the kids while we enjoyed a nice dinner out. It was wonderful! We went to this great Italian(yes Italian in Korea) place up on Chiaksan Mt. Just being able to have a nice dinner and enjoy each other's company was gift enough! But Dave and the kids(like they had a choice!) took me to Osan on my birthday and let me go shopping for a new purse, so I got this one! The plate looks scratched because I still have the plastic on it, I'm afraid to take it off...LOL! That's really all I have for now, I have been battling allergies and wild children all week, so no new reports! LOL! We still love and miss everyone too!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Well, not yet technically. I just got back from an exhausting, yet exciting weekend in Seoul. I went down there with two friends of mine and we just had a wonderful girls weekend! We started out with pedicures, then some shopping, Starbucks, more shopping, a nice fondue dinner, and then some more shopping...and now we are dog tired!!! I can't say we made it back with much, but we had an awesome time being able to ride the subway and just get "lost" in Seoul while the hubby's took the kiddos. They were dearly missed(the kids, not the men...Just Kidding!!!) It was my first time at a fondue restaurant and I LOVED it! I think the owner was ready to kick us out at the end of the night though. We were the only customers in there! We were able to stock up some much "wanted" things at the huge PX in Yongsan. And I got to show the girls the subway and all the outdoor markets in Seoul. We searched high and low for a LUSH store and finally found it after riding the escalator 20 billion times in a department store. Our Korean classes are paying off, you could tell in the smiles on people's faces when we attempted to ask for something! LOL! All in all, it was a great weekend and I am SO happy to have found these wonderful friends! Dave's not flying on my actual birthday, so I am not sure what we are doing yet for that. The kids are great. We are trying to get Emma into a ballet class in town, and maybe a Korean "pre-school." She is ready for her birthday, she was quite mad when I told her it was mine this week, not hers. It's easier to put it here instead of answering it a million times, but if anyone was wondering what she wanted for her birthday...clothes and shoes! The poor darling has no winter clothes and has outgrown all her pants. If you need sizes, just email or call. I don't mean this by please go buy her presents, but the child has more than enough toys and really doesn't need anymore! In fact, this week she went through her toys and decided which ones she was going to share with the orphans that we sponsor over here. It was so sweet to hear her talking about helping kids that have nothing when we have so much. Mason is a chunk and sweetie. He laughs at just about everything. Mainly Emma getting into trouble. He rolls over all the time now and it still scares Emma, she thinks he "fell over." He has made it through all his veggies with no problems and loved them all! He has a tip of a tooth coming in on the bottom! Oh, and he has found his feet. They are his long lost friends it seems. Dave is flying more than ever, mostly 6 days a week right now, and I think he is tired. The weather is also cooling off, it feels great now and not so humid! Ok, I can hear a child, not sure which one...hope everyone is doing well!!!

Sorry, again...

So for all of you that have been awaiting an update, here ya go! Sorry that is has been so long, again. I do get pretty busy, I know most can't seem to understand that, but I do. Even with just the kids. Mason had his 4 month appointment last week, he's a hefty man! He is 24 in. and 16.5 lbs. He was given the go ahead to start his foods, and this week was carrots. He loved them! I think at this point, he loves anything and everything. The boy can put away some food! Emma is doing well too. We are trying to get her enrolled into some sort of activity over here, but it seems she is too young for anything right now. It is still very hot and humid, looking for a change or we might melt! I have driven my truck twice, before it was taken away from me by my sweet husband. He sold his car and will be getting something smaller, but in the meantime, he is living it up in my nice American SUV! My Korean class is going well, I am learning more each week and am able to communicate more with the people. I have to cut this short since both kids are needing something at this very moment! Strange how that happens...:) Hope everyone is doing well and we miss everyone too!!!

Long time...

I promise I am going to get better at updating. We have just been so busy around here! The language class is a lot harder than I thought, but I think it will pay off! They don't use a full alphabet like we do, so trying to write out words is kinda difficult at this point. Emma is still making friends everywhere we go, most are Dave's co-workers. LOL! We did make it to the COEX Mall/Aquarium and the War Memorial in Seoul. Both were great, but we were dog tired after walking all day. Our Trailblazer has finally made it to Yongsan, so as soon as some papers get signed, we will have our car!!! Much more reliable than the Korean car we have been driving, can I say tire blow out on the highway??? We have a lot of things planned for the next two months, so should be fun. The monsoon season will be over soon and Dave will be flying/working more, so good thing our car will be here. Lots of exploring to be done! Mason has his 4 month appointment this week, I can't believe he is already 4 months! Our apartment is slowly coming together, there are still piles of "stuff" and boxes hanging around, but it's coming...I'll be posting some pics from the aquarium, but that's all I have for now...so busy I know! I promise more this week!!
